Have to agree, they are a pair of twats.
I also have a thing about personalised number plates. I just don't get them.

I don't mind personalised plates if they are good ones - I have to admit that two vehicles in this house have them, both gifts though.

I just can't stand the shite ones where they have to make a number look like a letter by changing it or spacing it illegally, or they change a letter by deliberately printing it wrong, both illegal and an MOT failure.

Some garages do get funny though, my missus' plate is her first name, spelt correctly with no altered letters or numbers and it passes the ANPR test with Plod and on it's 3rd MOT we took it to a different main dealer as it was closer to where we moved and the MOT tester got all funny as there's no double space in the middle.

Never had a problem before and we never took it there again, their loss.

Well we all make mistakes at some point, I can't say I have never done what those two did. Hardly seems worth the effort to post it on youtube really.

Well, after upsetting bad drivers, he then rips into people who like personalised plates, so twice the hate comes back :lol

The Audi driver seemed genuinly confused. The right turn right road arrow markings are in the middle of the intersection after the lights and are not standard some kind of sick joke. Too little too late road markings. I do not see the arrows marked before the lights. Anybody can make a mistake if the road markings are wrong or non-existing. Just saying.

Here is how it should be notice the proper turn right arrow painted before the intersection:

The arrow in Vals picture might be correct but the spelling certainly is not. :)

Had a look and my 2peneth worth is this.
You moved off at the amber light
And a lot quicker than the Audi was maybe expecting
And I don't see you indicating.
The Audi maybe thought that you were going straight ahead but then all of a sudden you were in the same spot that he was heading for.

Its a shitty road junction - we all have at least one near us and fully expect some drivers to make mistakes at them and so make allowances for it to happen. Not fully the drivers fault, although it is an Audi with dark tinted windows so you should of expected him to be a nob.

The right hand turn only is also signed at the traffic light and in the road approaching the trffic light.

It's a well used queue jump at that junction.

Yes i moved off quickly 'cos I knew what the dick was going to do, he looked surprised at he was expecting to be able to queue jump with no problem, that didn't work out for him.

Why would I indicate at a right turn only junction?

The first one looks like a classic queue-jumping attempt to me.

Gawd knows what the second one was thinking :rolleyes

Oh I see now - I didn't realise it was a right turn only lane.

So lets see then, you could see what he was going to do, so you put yourself in danger by zooming off to get there first so you could block his way just so you could post it on utube  ;)

Where exactly in Highway code you have read that is fine not to give indicators when turning right? Pedestrians/cyclist crossing straight may not realise that you have no choice and you are going to turn right.

Also the drivers from the opposite lane that crosses your path how exactly they will know that your lane is for turning right?

Maybe he was doing queue jump or maybe he was texting and not realising the lane was for right turn does it really matter if you collide? Where exactly is this junction?

Relax a little bit looking for trouble is not ideal when you are riding a bike honestly.

So yes if you like, I put myself in danger to prevent the driver queue jumping - well to prevent him doing it easily anyway.

It went on Youtube because the driver deliberately ignored 2 road signs showing right turn only, not counting the arrow in the road at the junction.

I really don't get your need to criticise my riding, no one's perfect and I've said before I don't youtube mistakes, just ignorant and dangerous driving.

Like your roundabout episode..........no ignorant or dangerous driving and no mistakes, perhaps improper use of roundabout from those coming from the right which you appear in the video  ignorant to the fact  ;)

I saw that too and thought exactly the same - they were effectively going the wrong way around the roundabout. In my opinion the chap who was committing the crime of "not giving way to the right" was simply taking the opportunity that the chap who cut the roundabout gave him.
Going by the right turn only vid it would not surprise me if you knew that this happens at that roundabout and went there just to film it. I know a mini roundabout like that where people go the wrong way around (the short way when turning right ) so that they are gone by the time the on coming traffic arrive so that they do not have to stop for you. Yes its wrong and yes I see it all the time at that mini roundabout but am I going to go there and film it to post on utube ---- No.

Also the give way to the  right only applies once the vehicles  have entered the roundabout or reached the entry line.

my pet hate are those who won't enter roundabout or pull out at junctions until there are no vehicles in sight  :rolleyes

I'm waiting for the footage where some complete and utter maniac takes exception to being filmed and being called a fucking idiot (if they hear)and either knocks him off the bike or gets out and hands him his arse......It will happen, it's just a numbers game and a matter of time. If you look for trouble long enough, you will find it. The ironic thing about it is, Sreetbudgie is the only one getting stressed out and irate, the offenders are blissfully unaware and probably chilled out to fuck. :lol

I drive into London every night and I have a  dash camera installed. It only goes on when someone near to me is driving erratically or unpredictably. I have become irritated with drivers before and recorded it but fortunately I have always deleted it when I realise what a dick I sound with my running commentary.
The other week driving through Hackney I saw a car pull a dangerous manoeuvre, screech to a halt and  4 youths steamed out wielding machetes and axes in pursuit of someone they recognised on the street. Don't know whether they caught him or not but remember thinking at the time....Glad I didn't pull them up over their dangerous manoeuvre....You see, you just never know. ;)
