Fitting top box rack with aftermarket exhaust
« on: 05 July 2016, 02:20:47 pm »
Right, i've fitted a set of scorpion cans to my fazer but then realised it's not possible to fit my givi rack and box with the exhaust in place (the brackets don't fit round them)

is there any way of easily bodging this or are there any alternative racks available that don't go round the exhaust/still fit with aftermarket cans on?

I made (bodged) a couple up when I had my FZ6, it took a we bit of time to do but I'm sure if you went to a local engineering firm they could make new side brackets quite cheaply, I will try and find pictues of mine and post them up for you.

think i'm just gonna sell the rack, seems like too much faff and I don't use it massively often these days anywho. will invest in a tail pack instead if I need luggage, otherwise use the car if it's larger luggage.

Thanks for the info though
