Looks like a model V310.
It's an interesting find, VHF 405 line monochrome tellies circa 1957 are rare if in good condition, though not worth a fortune.
Best if you don't try powering it up as the line output transformer will probably need an oil top-up (yes, really!) and the capacitors and resistors will need checking/changing.
Stick it on ebay at £25 and hopefully a collector will spot it.

Holy Fook, that is the exact same television set we had in 1961 when I was 14, now 69. it was the first telly we had when I lived in a Sussex village called Fernhurst.
To switch the telly on you had to push a button in on the top and the lid used to open and that action switched the TV on, inside the flap/lid were two rotary switches one to tune the set in the other was volume. Good old Murphy.
It was a shit picture then and would not mind betting its not improved.

The other thing I remember about this telly was when you switched it off it would take about one minute for the little white dot in the middle of the screen to completely disappear.
we were sad fookers then, we never had much entertainment, wish my telly still did that  :rollin

Used to work in a television shop back in the day, can remember them sets well, people used to stand em on end to transport em (eg screen facing down) oil used to run out of EHT transformer, easy fix, bung a bit of 20/50 back in with syringe ( transformer had flexible rubber top)  :eek  I kid you not  :)

I spend a hell of a lot of time inlofts, surprising whats up there,, loads of pictures in frames,,,loads and fucking loads of Christmas decorations.
Old computers,, usually a box the vcr or tele came in, monoploly, scalextric sets, dead mice , mouse poison, a tank full of water,  why do people keep cobwebs up there? , old photos,
