I find stuffing the boots with newspaper or kitchen roll is much cheaper and simpler. If you really need them dry quickly, a hair dryer on cold setting works (don't use the hot setting, that will ruin the leather).As for gloves, the simplest method is to pour rice into them! It absorbs the water quickly, then dust your hands with talc and put them on to clear up any residual dampness

Yeah I have use em, they were a present one xmas, like a canvas bag thing full of something (uncle bens prob ).not great, they took the edge off but nothing news paper wouldnt

If you happen to have a bag of rice to hand, surely there's a small chance you also have access to some form of radiated heating device that could also dry your gloves out
