Hi All,

I've been given a very unexpected pass for this Sunday. The mother in law is down, the wife was saying about taking her and the kids to Leed's Castle and then she said "I know you're not a fan of going there, why not see if anyone fancies a ride" so........

Earlier in the year Dazza mentioned about doing a route in Kent round the Spitfire museums/memorial.

Does anyone fancy it?

I live in Northiam near Tenterden. I regularly rideout to the Clifftop Cafe, near the BoB monument. Can meet you there or somewhere earlier. Where are you starting from?

We'll be coming from Sittingbourne but heading towards your way as the roads are some of our favourites.
Don't want to butt in on Harrys ride but perhaps you being in Tenterden could meet us at Headcorn aerodrome. Pretty local to you and a nice route through the twisties for us. What do you think ?

you know planning routes aren't my best atributes so feel free to pitch in, but....

I was thinking, maybe, down to the Spitfire Museum at Manston (cuppa/breakfast), down A253 to Sarre and down into Canterbury and out the other side A257 to Wingham, then turn right down the Wingham bends, down to Folkestone down the A260 via the Spitfire museum at Hawkhurst and then on to the Spitfire memorial at Capel le Ferne..... this is your best chance at me doing a route..... LOL

Starting at Mansion is a bit far from Northiam. We could meet at Headcorn, nice Cafe there. Where is Harry starting from?

A poor start until Wingham and then it started to go back down hill just after Wingham bends. Good first effort though H

OK, seeing as this suits Megawatt too, let's go with the more experienced Dazza and meet at Headcorn and go from there!

I'll tell you what we'll do Harry. I'll lead us through the lanes to Headcorn to meet up with Megawatt We can then decide what route is best from there to Manston. Either the A28 to Ashford or back through the lanes to Canterbury via Chilham.
When we leave Manston we can pick up your route and you lead us from there to Capel Le Ferne via the Wingham bends.
I'm thinking about 09.30-10 am at mine Ceri, can stop and get a mega breakfast at Station café in the town then buzz through to Headcorn for about 11.30 12.
How do these times suit everyone else ?
