So the journey into work wasn't so bad, although the bike blatantly doesn't feel right.
It idles okay surprisingly, but at a steady 3000rpm the bike feels like it's being held back, almost like riding into a strong headwind, or as if it has a dirty air filter (it hasn't).
Once I gave it a bit of welly it's not so noticeable though.
When going slowly round a corner there's a slight jerkiness about it as well, very subtle but it's certainly there, and it makes you keep the revs up for fear of it cutting out, although I don't think it actually would.
I recognise all the signs anyway through previous experience, but maybe these signs may help anyone else experiencing any running weirdness.
Obviously though, if you do a TPS check and the needle can sit quite happily on 5000rpm then it should be running fine.
