Gen 2 European Headlight Conversion
« on: 24 March 2016, 02:24:09 pm »
Does anyone have any experience of fitting European headlight conversion stickers to Gen 2 headlights ?
I need to know exactly where they stick on as there are no instructions with them for fitting them to motorcycles.

Cheers.
I could change my opinion, but then we'd both be wrong.

I've just about toured in all the European countries so far & not altered or used any head light conversation aids. Think my naked FZ has just an even spread of light not like cars, but I'm really not sure.
..is that it...?

On my box eye 600 I shone the headlights at a wall and cut a small piece of black fablon to just blank off the slight upward bit of light on the left of the beam. Some black insulation tape would probably do just as well. I am talking Mk1 FZS600 here so I doubt it would dazzle anybody even if they stirred directly into the beam  :\ .

I got to Europe regularly and don't blank the dip off. Just make sure it cuts off at the right height. I'd be surprised if you dazzled anyone, the bias to the left isn't that great.
