Anyone fitted a different tank?

Has anyone ever tried fitting a different tank to the 600? I want a more of a sport riding position with clip ons, which I've got, but I've read that they foul the tank.

Had a look at the rental ultra lows but doesn't particularly look much different?

I've not had a problem fouling the tank- my clips ons hit the clocks before the tank!

Change the risers to something lower (such as early SV650 / Bandit) & stick with the likes of lower renthal bars.

Alternatively, someone on the old Foccer site turned the standard risers around 180 degrees (facing towards the clocks instead of the ridre) and rotated their standard handlebars round until it resembled a clip-on setup. More of a stretch to the bars too...

Just angle the clipons further forward
