Free?!? I've paid a bloody fortune into the NHS over the years.  ;)
They do (mostly) do a great job though. Good luck with the op Taylor, never a nice time but hopefully it'll come good in the end.  :)

I was reading that machine is 2,5 million to buy,  100, grand a year to maintain,  and they only do about 75 op,s a year,   big bucks.

You're right it's a serious piece of kit, but it still takes a surgeons hands to use it. Wishing you all the best fella, Our NHS is still an institution we can all be proud of. :thumbup

Warning if you're squeamish- the video's a bit graphic in places.

well it was delayed for a week so didn't post anything in case it was delayed again.     I have been in today and had it removed.        what a great bit of kit,     and a great surgeon and staff.       I was in the surgery between 8 and 1  and home by 6.           apart from the catheter thing I   feel fine  eating and drinking normally,            now for the recovery they have said  shouldn't be any problems because I am pretty fit,   and she slapt my arse. ;)         no knobs on my forehead either :\
