K & N filter, Non-Ivanised Gen 1
« on: 20 December 2015, 09:09:49 pm »
My bike is a standard 2003 Gen 1 apart from a previous owner fitted a K & N air filter and road legal end can.
Are there any adjustments that can be made from standard settings to the mixture, the exup valve position or anything else that is  adjustable to get the best out of the bike.
I have the mixture screws all set to 2 turns out at the moment.

Buy a set of Ivanised carbs? ;)

I have a set for sale, trying to raise enough funds to purchase some gilles rearsets. struggling to ride my beast with standard pegs :(

Definitely will be ivanising next year but for now, having just bought all the carb tools, if there are any tweaks I can make to the standard set up, I will!
