Hello all
I'm thinking about removing the fairing over winter, more of a naked look, just some advice on the indicators ,I've bought some of flee bay, but after reading some comments on here, it was not my best idea.
So what indicators would you recommend?
Will they need a bracket for fixing to the bike?
What are the MOT rules ?
cheers all
If your indicators are to small don't panic, thats what your arms are for.
If your in the UK you have to have indicators by law unless you go for a daylight mot in which case you don't need lights at all (even a brake light I believe) very impractical as even a shower means you either can't go out or you need to park it until said shower stops
If your not to concerned about the finished look then going nude is simple enough but if you want it to look neat and tidy your in for a bit of work, lots of cables and wiring to consider and you'll loose your gauge mount if you remove your fairing bracket.
I spent a few hours head scratching trying to come up with a suitable place to mount my ignition switch after moving my clocks, ended up extending the wiring loom and fitting them under my seat just in front of the rear lights, OK so you don't have to go to such an extreme but it can be a lot of work if you really want a clean front end.
Just saying
