Isn't the slow turn in partly, but significantly due to the very wide rear. I'm almost tempted to try a 180 section on the rear to see if it makes it turn in a little quicker.

I'm almost tempted to try a 180 section on the rear to see if it makes it turn in a little quicker.Im with you on that pillingas....my woes with my fz1 are well documented & of course ill get a ribbing now for being a fanny but i think you could be onto something......combined with the weight i think it makes you doubt the bike at times & youve really gotta hustle it at times.......im much happier on my trx modded with a 180 rear it is so flickable........ok it wheezes out i could do with more hp.......but it corners quicker on most b roads...........on larger sweeping well surfaced a roads the fz1 excels itself as imo turn in speed is less relevant even at quite decent speeds.Let the flames commence
