« on: 06 November 2015, 03:28:39 pm »

If your a Folk fan and haven't heard Martyn Joseph I'll be very supprized, has a few dates/venues this week and well worth seeing live.

Hope to take my nephew, not sure he'll get him but he's 14 and started listening to some of my albums.

He sounds pretty good joe.

I havent imagined folk music as sounding like that......it conjures up barns and well err just hillbillies......shows how much i know.......id love to learn guitar and theres so many styles out there im confused.

I should maybe get another guitar thread going, quite a few on here are musicians.

I've often thought about getting into the folk scene.....but I've always been too busy socializing, making friends and getting laid. :rollin

It was Martyn Joseph that got me into folk, and I lived in Dublin for awhile and thats pretty much all your going to hear in most of the pubs there.

Guess it beats dub step or what ever its called
