No, just a clear tube, you can get other colours. Pull the plug from the top to top it up with fluid. Have looked for something similar for decades (no kidding) but there wasn't any tube that could withstand brake fluid and those that used alternative would have to change the tube regularly.

a pipe full of fluid will do the same job. Just cant see why anyone would do it apart from to hide the tube away. Would cause problems at MOT time if its not marked for min level.

Not sure but wouldn't take long to refit the stock res/pipe as vertical so shouldn't have to much problem with air getting back into the system

Yeah I've seen a similar set up, looked great but also looked like the fluid could surge away from the mastercylinder

Why would you bother?    When you have a perfectly good secure remote reservoir already fitted

You have any replacement bolts on your bike?

I had a "kit"  HRC one in my blade. Looked neat and was no bother at mot time.

Ah!............................No.

Hugger does not count as it does something the standard chain guard does not.

End of the day I like to personalize my bikes, not going to go as far as something like the Rubyracer project but little details that I feel improves the look of the bike.

Each to their own.............

Oh and of course less weight equals faster acceleration. 10lb is the equivalent to about 1bhp so I'm up to about 97 bhp and I've not spent a penny on tuning

Res may not weigh much but every little helps

Spend less on pies and you get the same result, so in effect you are gaining money as well

Yes but I know its there 

 As for cost, I'm on holiday this week, spent £20 on a new soldering iron, £13 on a Dremel (copy) spent god knows how many hours making a bracket for my clocks out of some spare aluminium, cut down my wiring loom, shaved the ignition switch bracket off the top yoke, made a patern for a one off remote res mount (being made at work) etc etc How much would I have spent on beer etc if I had not spent that time modifying the FZS. Quids in I recon (and I got £25 back selling my surpless to requirement headlights and still waiting for the final price on some other parts I removed)

You may see modifying as pointless, but to me its part of motorcycle ownership

Yes but I know its there 

Well that don't make sense -- wont you know that the tube is also there.
Im not a modder but I do get that some are, its just that you cant see it and it does ( ) not improve performance or looks so that is why I don't get that tone.

What about the ugly box that is the front res - now that I would change

You will see the tube, I'll make sure it finishes before the original snakes under the bodywork. 

Stock front mastercylinder already replaced with a GSXR  item (£20 ebay) The stock item on ebay right now so hope to recoup some the dollars.

I went mad building a Katana many moons ago, suspension front and rear, wheels, stainless everything, full Yoshi pipe etc etc, was a beautiful bike and had many admirers where ever I went (people would even lay on the floor to look at the detail but never again, dam wheels alone cost more than I paid for the Fazer and you never see it again.
