Why I love motorcycling
« on: 16 September 2015, 01:23:31 pm »
Was struggling to find some wire for modifying my loom, went all around town and none to be found in small quantities, then someone suggests calling this old chap who makes up wiring looms for old british motorcycles.
I give him a call and after a couple of mins he says I don't normally supply wire but pop over and I'll see what I can do. 30p a meter, and a butchers at some old british iron. Like it or loathe it it still has a certain appeal.
Restores your faith in human nature  :D

Nice result :) . I love looking at old bikes. It's where it all started isn't it and they did the best they could with the technology, machining and tooling that they had at the time.

Spotted these, amongst others, at Haddenham steam fair last weekend. Also a very tasty '73 Mach1 Mustang fitted with a 6.4 litre Nascar engine 8) .
