I keep my helmet nice and clean by dipping it in parrafin and scrubbing it with a wire brush........ :eek

On a serious note, I really miss the BSI/ACU construction regulations. That helmet is possibly only safe for low speed impacts, but you try finding out that information.

I've never owned a £500 helmet, nor could I justify spending that sort of hard earned on one, but I wouldn't trust one of those lids to save me at speed

A mate of mine bought the carbon version of that for £99 off ghost bikes - they are the same helmet as the Stealth brand ones.  He has not had any issues with it but they are v.loud on the move!  His previous lid was an Arai Corsair.

Look good though...

I bought a Mick Doohan Rep Arai at Ally Pally bike show for £300 many years ago. I used it for 6 or 7 years and felt it needed replacing as it was old, smelly and some trim had fell off. I looked at all types of helmet but couldn't afford to replace the Arai. Out of the Blue i had a phone call from Ben Cope at Visordown and he told me I'd won a brand new Kenny Roberts Jr replica woth £599.99. Yehaa.
