Why on earth did I not know about this road?
« on: 19 February 2012, 07:14:19 pm »
Me and me trust Beemer 'explored' the road south from Dalmellington to Ayr on Friday...shitty weather kept the pilgrims off the road...bloody hell! if it wasn't for the piss poor surface in places...what a hoot! ....airborne in places..pos and neg camber twisties..I shall bring a bike at some juncture and get proper acquainted!
Thank you Ayrshire

the road south from Dalmellington to Ayr
Sounds good and  I don't wish to be critical, but shouldn't that be more North West rather than South from Dalmellington?  ;) .

Only 20 minutes from me.
Took Moff and his border raiders there last year and Moff wanted to do it again, same day. As Paul say's the road SOUTH ( ;) ) of Dalmelington is Defo the best part, let me know when you are up next Paul.

Thornhill, Mennock,Wanlockhead,Elvanfoot,Thornhill,Moniaive,Ken Bridge,Ayr and back to Thornhill = Brill.
