I'm thinking of getting a thou, so any advice will be welcome, I want a gen 2 naked in standard trim, looked on ebay, a few on mainly bike shops, which is ok as they have to "work", what years are best? and what's the fastest colour, ignore the last bit. Oh and what is the top speed (that's reached easily?)  thanks for any advice and if you're selling one cheap and local (Yorkshire) let me know.

Any year is good, there does not seem to be any difference over the years, apart from ecu changes to smooth out the throttle response on the earlier ones, which seems to differ from bike to bike and rider to rider.
Don't have any idea about top speed but you can easily find yourself going silly fast without trying.
I prefer the look of the ones with a black engine rather than silver but that is my personal preference.
Just buy the best one you can get for your budget, if you get one with abs brakes that is a nice bonus.

Don't let anyone else tell you different, red and black ones with abs are the fastest ( strangely enough that is what I have got). :)

It would be better if we had been exchanging ideas frequently.

It would be better if you posted something of use rather than spam with links to malware sites, fake Viagra or whatever it is you're being paid to peddle.
