Rear suspension?

Hi
Has anyone found/made rear suspension bushes/bearings that fit the rear suspension linkage, coz even with new ones I still have play in mine! or are they all like that? any mod to cure it?

There is noticeable movement even with fresh bearings. They're like that sir!

They are like that but if you chock the rear wheel up just enough to take the slack out then do up the linkage nuts it minimises it. Mine has very little now.

could you post a video up or link to show how bad it is or do you have a local mechanic you can trust to check

Had advisory at last mot regarding play in bearings in the linkage, even chap who did mot said to expect some play in the new bearings. When I do change them I will try chocking up the rear wheel first before tightning up fully  :thumbup :thumbup

Just replaced mine today and noticed the play also. Thought maybe it was because I only replaced the bearings and not the bushes. I'll try lift the wheel and retighten - though I can't see why that would help?

Update: Re-greased bearings (really stuffed them) and tightened all bolts while on the side stand. Noticed a minor improvement  8)
