Amazing but sorry no way should he be allowed on a race track he is a liablity to himself and the safety of others.
Another handicapped rider who should never have had a racing licence returned to was Robert Dunlop. If his racing ban had been enforced likely as not Robert Dunlop would still be alive.
I do admire the guys get up and go attitude but!!!!!!!!!!!

There are enough able bodied riders who are a liability to themselves and everybody else too though.

The Yanks use the word awesome to describe any old crap. This fella is truly awesome. A true inspiration to everyone. I hope he's successful, he certainly deserves to be.

FFS why not, just because your handicapped should not stop you doing what you love if you can. :rolleyes
Live life to the full, I would rather die doing something I love doing rather than waste away sitting around and dying of boredom.

After my accident in 2002, having spending 3 months in hospital and 9 trips to the operating theatre, which for 3 weeks they did not know if I would survive, I arrived in to the consultant 2 months after being released from hospital for a check up in my bike gear, his comment was "Your back on the bike I see". I replied "Yes" and expected a lecture, but his reply surprised me "That's good, going back to what you always did before the accident is good for your recovery, mentally and physically, just be careful" :)

There's a thin line between each side of that coin - I don't think I would go out if I thought it likely that my conditions could cause harm to others

It's all fair game when you are putting only yourself at risk

And one armed one legged bike racer should not be allowed on a race track. Due to my current issues with my knee I should not be allowed on a bike and if I had to go for a medical I do not think I would pass it either.
