Loonatic Cager
« on: 13 June 2015, 02:01:30 pm »
A bit of a close one yesterday afternoon on the Loch Lomond Road between Ardlui and Crianlarich, I was safely over taking a line of cars and suddenly I was then over taken by a Renault Megane Sport car....WHILE I WAS OVERTAKING.....he was on the grass verge on the opposite side of the road throwing up stones and grit at me.....he then lost control as he swung back across the road and collided with one of the cars being overtaken bumping him onto the opposite grass verge, he than loses control as he swings back onto the road......so in front of me I have two out of control cars colliding with each other, wing mirrors and glass bouncing all over the road.....I'm still on the opposite side of the road as I was still in overtaking mode and can't cut in as the lines of cars are all breaking.......the Megane does stop as he's a runner which gave me space to pull in front of the car he just hit......shat myself to say the least.

So what happened after that?   Did somebody stick one on the driver? I would have.

I have to say some bikers are no better. Last weekend I was out on my bike and I was on the main carridgeway with a center rught turn lane with my indicator on and still doing around 50mph as the junction was a fast fork in my favour when one of those power ranger wankers on his plastic fantastic crotch rockets overtakes me as as im just about to power on and flick right.... shit me up .

Glad you're ok fella, it's a stunning route the A82 but it's one of the worst going for fatalities. I hope they caught the bugger and throw the book at him.  :bobby

No typo, he did a runner.....I did catch up with him but with the way he was overtaking, weaving in and out making everyone brake there was no way I wanted to get too close to him, even making on coming traffic take action and slow down. I had to stop at Glencoe for fuel hoping he would pull in too, but he rattled straight on.....I hope someone got his number but he probably stole the foccin car.
