Four motorcyclists in hospital after A32 collision

Four motorcyclists are in Southampton General Hospital tonight after a collision in West Meon near Fareham - with one having been airlifted to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

Hampshire Police are investigating the accident on the A32 towards Fareham just before 8pm. The road will remain closed for a few hours. Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision to call them on 101 quoting Operation Direction.

NB There has been a lot of speculation, rumour and gossip on Facebook and in other places about what happenend in this incident. I'd be grateful if we didn't do that here, I'm just posting this so if anyone was there and has any information they can contact the Police.

I went down to Loomies yesterday after work but forgot they close at 5 on Thursdays!
I turn off A32 to A272 there so didn't carry on A32 to see any signs or anything!

I went to loomies and on to portsdown hill. No sign of carnage and only rumour and hearsay from loomies.
