Might be up for this, route down there can be boring unless you go through all the little villages.

True, did that when we went sand racing as couldn't face miles of Motorway and dual carriageway. May be up for this bike must be sorted by then, frustrating having it in the garage and not being able to use it! :'(

OK is anyone going to go for this run?

I'm up for it if Dazza/Midden/HH or any other local lead us a merry dance through the Kent countryside rather than just blasting along the major roads

Not that interested in the Meltdown but the riding bit can be fun, i'm up for leading from Sittingbourne for a hour then 20 min ish break then another hour to Thanet? All interesting roads, make good progress but steady enough not to use cornerman system.

Booked my Sat and Sun night shift off work, so am up for this.
Quite happy to follow your lead maxzer, like you, not really into the meltdown thing or Margate in particular but hey, if we get bored, we can always  :foc  somewhere else.

Just need a time and meeting place, quite happy to meet up at mine and have a cuppa before we head off.

I'm not interested in meeting at the Ace, nor am I intending on leaving early, I'm in apsley atm, do you want to meet me here red?
What's people's thoughts on gathering at high beach for a coffee and Sandwich about midday??
We can go for a bimble eastwards from there, any other preferences on times?

I was going to suggest just off Chestnut Street from Key Street but can come to yours dazza, i tend to go out early or late to avoid the mobile chichanes as much as possible. Anyone up for a long pre Margate ride can start off earlier, even loop back a bit to meet others. Could take more like 3 hrs so can fit in a couple more breaks.

So options for tomorrow,

1) Meet up with Dazza, Mazer, et al, in the morning for a blast

or

2) Meet up with Punkstig, Deadeye(?), Red98 at High Beach at 12 then into Kent to meet up for another lap of Kent with Dazza's crew?

Trying to make up my mind, which one involves a fry up in the morning?????

Well, I'm still alive, although the pull of the hedgerows was strong on this ride  :b .
Mr and Mrs maxzer and Ceri met at mine and we followed maxzer's lead to Tenterden.
Interesting roads and a route that I wouldn't have taken which was quite a nice experience and very little traffic.
We then headed across country to H's on the A2 and had our compulsory fry up.
I kept in contact with Red by text throughout and arranged to meet up in Margate.
Mr and Mrs maxzer peeled off at the Margate roundabout and me and Ceri went red boxeye hunting in Margate.
It was easy to find cos all the paint was flaking off the engine  :D
We then had to rescue two bluerinser's from Red's persistant attention, had a coffee and hit the roads again for a blast.
Stopped for a shandy then headed North to peel off at the M20.
They were both alive when I left them. :)

Think I may have finished off my rear tyre, what do you think, one more ride ?
