LED indicators
« on: 17 April 2015, 06:50:03 pm »
Anyone used any of these, or seen them in a bike?
They look really bright which is what I want. Normal led indicators are a bit naff.

They might be bright, but look fairly 'directional' by that I mean they would give very much light outwards, and thus, although being bright, only people behind and in front of you would see you indicating!
But if you were to buy 8 of them, you could put some on the side too.
But, another question you've got to ask is would they pass an MOT?

If only! I'm lucky that the guy that tests my bikes is proper old school.

He said If it's yellow and flashes, it's an indicator.

Im thinking about blanking off my car and bike indicators after the mot since no other foccing funt has the use of any in South West Wales :grumble ....then im gonna go round and round roundabouts for the fun of it in the outside lane. :evil

Well, you'll get away with it then as far as MOT but thought you wanted brighter so people would see you?

Now there is a great question...what lane would you actually be in??

When does the outside lane on approach roads become the inside lanes of roundabout?

Thats coz theres so many flashing lights & everyone is off their face on candy floss & boiled burgers :lol

Sinto..maybe im biased about roundabouts coz im from a new town & new towns are always roundabout obsessed but ive never found them complicated really...forgot to mention ill also be flashing my lights as i go round & then ill have one finger to my temple like an italian calling everyone else mentalists & ill be in 1st gear kangarooing back & forth :lol
