Project Shoestring hits the road
« on: 07 February 2012, 05:35:21 pm »
anyone care to hazard a guess as to how much she's cost to look like this!

2003 bike (now on 20K)
4XV/5JJ forks with resprung/damped internals
5PW yokes
New rear spring
Ivans SO kit
Quill R1 End Can
AIS removed
Headlights wired into 2001 switchgear
Oxford LED front winkers
Aeroblade screen
Tarted and tidied up.

You're off to start some green laning by the looks of it. :lol
Some say that he eats habanero chilli peppers dipped in oil of capsaicin for extra bite and that his pyjamas are made from Nomex. All we know is, he's called Ad the Bad

looks are a very personal thing, the one thing for me that i just cry over each time i see them is those front indicators, SO ugly  :'(
You can get those spacers that make them look a little better fit, but fitting such thin stalks on the fazer just dosent work for me. even more so with the rears still OE.

other than that, pretty nice looking bike.

i had a couple of different sets of winkers to try, flush oval car type, flush bubble'd (which were my personal faves, but being chinese separated when i tightened them up) or those for £5 bnib. just need to source another set to finish off.
and yes, the bobbin mount IS rusty..........and bent.
