How long should I leave my plugs in ? so far its been 4 years & 9 k miles.

There is no true recommended mileage, but with your mileage I would certainly take them out and check them. Low mileage is not really an issue if it is stored in dry conditions. Some yamaha manuals recommend 12500 miles change and others say inspect.

For some reason, the Fazer doesn't seem to wear plugs out. With my previous bike, an Aprilia Futura, you could feel a real difference changing the plugs every 8k, but the Fazer even after 20k you hardly notice.

Cheers guys, its just had oil & filter & a good lube the past 4 years so i think a full service is due.
