Not with a bike but insured sons fiance when she came over from Northern Ireland. I put her on my car insurance for two weeks, cost £30 with Aviva which I didn`t think was too bad considering her age.

Have tried a few , they advertise but when you phone them they say, no we have stopped doing it now or ,no you have to take out 12 months and then cancel and get a refund. Not daft are they all I want was 4 days insurance so for that they will charge a small fortune and then again for cancelling +the admin fee.
Sorted now as my mate says he will put me on his policy as a named rider.

Bikesure still do it but you have to have a uk address, I fecked up really as I said I lived in Spain. I still have a home in the UK so I told them that, he says you said you live in spain, yes but you said you have to have a UK address , blah blah, forget it. Next time best just to keep me gob shut and give my UK address, just donot like telling porkies to an insurance company.

Ebike do short term policies, daily and monthly, monthly work out cheaper, it is like a pay as you go.
