Actually Nick,  seeing as your bike is shit and mine's not,  why don't you let me have those carbon ones and you can do a deal with me on the ones I've got.  Then, before  you have chance to answer I'll jump in and buy them,  ignoring any kind of foccer etiquette and once I've got what I want,  I can ignore you until you complain, then bump the price of mine up to twice as much.
What'd ya say?

It's alright Nick,  have just remembered,  my name is Dazza,  not RMT and I have more scruples to do that to anyone, let alone another foccer.

Standard new one's of these cost about £45 each,  still a tidy sum if you want two.
I agree, those carbon ones are expensive.
Someone did have a left hand one fitted with a 12v socket but didn't reply when I asked for a photo,  I ain't buying nothing blind as certain people on here have eroded my trust with their behaviour.

Nice one dj, will pm you.

RMT, :lol the lady doth protest too much, anyone with any savvy can see for there selves how you went about things and the only one dictating terms was you as you was desperate to get the deal. I don't care about a bellypan, I've still got my integrity, you haven't. You're just trying a pathetic damage limitation exercise. it don't wash.

Nick, sorry to do this on your thread, sometimes you just got to get it off your chest.

Think of it as a free bump and light entertainment. :)

Damage limitation lol, protest too much  :lol id have taken the £40 if it wasn't for you having a good old bitch, you asked for a photo, I asked for a payment method. Not only did I buy that but I bought just about everything else off him,

Sorry that you wasn't brave enough to just take a punt and buy it without seeing it, sometimes you win, sometimes you loose.................

Im a fair enough guy, I do an awful lot of buying and selling and so far I've only upset one person. I didn't mean to and I didn't realise I was stepping so far onto some ones feet. its unfortunate, its happened, get over it.

Just remember the next time someone tries to do a deal with you, don't start demanding or you will end up getting ignored, just like you did.  :z :z :z

Have a read back through this, refresh your memory http://foc-u.co.uk/i-ndex.php/topic,15924.0.html Should have been a straight same price deal but you wanted £58 for yours when the other was £33.This was why you ignored me.

Memory is as fresh as a daisy!!!

I told you I paid £58 for it and would like as much as possible, you offered £40 but whilst in the same message as the offer you was telling me how you thought it should happen. No one tells me how to do anything. hence the reason why you got ignored.

I kept hold of it for a week wondering if you was going to change your attitude  :'( but you didn't so I stuck it on ebay.

As you say, its only a belly pan......................

Speaking as a school playground monitor for the purposes of this playground tiff;

The way I see it  RMT wouldn't have been interested in pauls pan without seeing the pictures or knowing it was the right colour for his bike since he had already bought a silver one which he was prepared to have resprayed.

It's logical that  Dazza should have the silver one (subject to condition and styling)  because he'd have to respray regardless.
It's also logical  that he would presume to agree to give up the blue one (which RMT indirectly acknowledges by suggesting the deal/swap  he had first dibs on) for the silver one at the same price of £25 +£8pp because had he already bought the blue one he would be doing RMT the favour by making the swap and therefore shouldn't lose out financially.
The only person to gain would have been RMT by saving the cost of the respray and therefore the price he originally paid for the silver one should have been irrelevant since he was requesting the deal/swap.

But hey not my argument so I'll just stay out of it and watch from the ringside  ;)

Belly pan??? I thought this was about Infill panels?

Anyway I need a pair of the Faring Infill panels for a Gen 1 1000.

Did someone say that you can buy them new for £45?? If so has anyone got a link?

Just posted a new wanted post for them, so I didn't have to get involved in what I now know to be a very polite argument over a belly pan.
