So,

I have been looking at my suspension Forks, and i noticed the following, whilst i figure out what to do about it - comments?

They do not leak oil and fluid as far as i can tell when compressed etc....and there is nothing on the wheels/floor....

Just a perishing dust seal.
If the oil seal down under it is not leaking any oil I wouldn't worry about it.

Its just a dust seal, however it does mean that rust water is getting down onto the fork seals and an MOT inspector might not like that. Just buy some more, with the forks out you can lever the old ones out of place with a flat blade screwdriver and slide some new ones on.
