(me again!) What is this called and where do I get one??
« on: 08 February 2015, 11:34:13 am »
Hi,

So I feel like maybe my bike is falling apart, given how I seem to be on here with issues quite a lot!

However, I do have a new issue and am hoping someone can help out. So yesterday I noticed my front brake wasn't activating the light. Having looked I could see that one of the wires had come loose from the connector of the Front Light Break switch. It should be an easy fix however annoyingly I can't get the wire to stay back in the connector and have currently fixed it using masking tape and hope  :rolleyes

This is a photo of the connector I'm trying to replace, I wondered if anyone had any ideas what they were called/where I could get one?

In case my description is terrible, this is what it connects to:

I really can't figure out what it's called in order to try and get a replacement, the current one is set so tight I don't think i can undo it and I'm not sure how long the Tape will hold so any help would be epic!

Thanks again

Pop along to your local motorfactors or halfords and take the connector with you it's called a right angle spade connector.
