Missing promises for election victory.
« on: 31 January 2015, 07:30:31 pm »
Missing promises for election victory. Well with a heading like this I m surprised you have looked this far, any how I got to thinking if we live in a democracy are there things missing from the will of the people at election times ( I m thinking here keep it fun and silly - entertaining)
I would like to propose that as many in our democracy like to go fast there should be a Mad Sunday style events in the UK. The speed limit could be removed from (for example) Snake pass once a year and the average speed cameras could give official times.
Is this a vote winner?
Do you have a better idea?

With the introduction of sprint events in Coventry (and somewhere else recently held one on the streets?), I propose real road racing in Wales. It must include the road from Crossgates to Newtown. Any political party introduces this, and I will actually get out and vote for them.

Alternatively (and preferably), all UK roads that get votes as being in Britain's top twenty best biking roads get made into bike-only roads, with no speed limits ever  :b
Sod it, make that top forty :b :b

ooo bad boy.

A £1000 road tax ultra inflated fuel and insurance levied on all scooters. Plus £500 extra for entering London.

Cyclists should be fair game, especially when the twats ride two abreast.

Fuel should be half price for powered two wheelers as they are a traffic solution.

And new two strokes should be allowed that don't require emissions testing. I would think they could be made to much cleaner levels than the ones of old now anyway, with advances in oils and whatnot.

Included warranties should be
1 year up to £100 spent
2 years up to £200
3 years up to £300 and so on up to £500 as from then on no one expects stuff to last any longer than that anyway
