can anyone do me a favour and measure the diameter of the badge that sits in the middle of the headlights please?

On my 2001 Gen 1 I'd say the hole in the fairing is 30mm with the tuning fork badge being 29mm as there is a very slight gap between badge & fairing. Hope that helps.
