2003 Fazer 600 for sale
« on: 14 December 2014, 09:16:56 pm »
Hi All

Well I bought the CBF1000 (or at least have put a deposit down so time to move the six on)

It has been a great friend to me and has been well looked after but well used. At the moment it is modded to within an inch of its life and has been turned into the ideal touring bike

I would prefer to sell as it but if there's no interest I'll sell all the bits separately

The bike:
2003 Foxeye in silver. 58K mile
All parts likely to have worn out have been replaced with premium ones
- Hagon rear shock
- Stainless steel down pipes
- Pilot road 3 tyres with plenty of life left
- HID head light
- Double bubble screen
- Full luggage comprising of 2X21L Kappa panniers and a 54L Non Fango top box (fits two lids if needed)
- Aftermarket comfort seat (I'll probably miss this most as it took me ages to find a comfy one)

Cosmetic Mods
- Front fender extender
- Rental Handlebars
- Oxford Headed grips
- Handguards  (combines with muffs make for warm hands regardless of the weather)
- Zumo satnav 440 mount built in above the clocks (satnav will be going to new bike)
- Autocom - satnav plays music and fades when directions read out)
- Belly pan
- Rear Hugger
- scottoiler and touring reservoir

Bad bits:
I dropped her on ice about 30K miles ago and scratched the right hand side of the fairing and theres a small crack under the right indicator. The scratches wouldn't be noticed but its best to be honest

I have been servicing her myself for 40K miles too and only use best parts. I popped a new K&N air filter in a couple of weeks ago so that will never need changing. I paid for a DID Heavy duty Chain and sprockets about 3K ago. The last ones lasted 45K so you will never need to replace those either - I haven't switched the oiler back on since). If I was keeping her the only thing that is needed is new fork oil and seals.

So who is interested? I won't be greedy and would rather she went to a good home.

Pictures to follow when its brighter. I am based in west sussex

Did the aftermarket bits go with the trade in?
