R6 Can & Link For a Fazer 1000

Hi All
Ive just bought a carbon can with link pipe for an R6
what will i need to do to fit it to my fazer 1000 i have original pipe on the fazer and dont really want to chop it up..
If it wont fit without too much trouble is there any one who would want to swap it for 1 that will fit my fazer i will send pics if required ill try put 1 up

Just take the original can off and try the R6 for fit. As long as the link pipe can fit onto the outlet on the collector box it will be ok. If the link pipe is the wrong diameter then you could get a link pipe to fit a fazer but then would the end can fit the lazer link pipe!

Just curious, why did you buy stuff for an R6 if you have a fazer?

Because i got mates rates on the pipe and thought i may be able to modify it to fit
if not swap it for one that will. because ppl ask stupid prices for 2nd hand aftermarket cans

It doesn't look like that link pipe will fit.


Most cans will have a 50 or 60mm inlet, just get a new link pipe to fit your bike to that can. Around £45-50, normally a few on ebay
