Using E10 fuels
« on: 29 November 2014, 07:49:05 pm »
Anyone have an opinion on the use of E10 fuels. I have used them over many years on many bikes never had a problem, but I tend not to keep a bike for more than 3 years so maybe someone else may have a problem down the road. I did ask Kawasaki customer services a few years ago when I had my SX and they said they had tested E10 fuels and found them compatable with there engines.
I have read though that owners of older bikes could expierence problems with ruber based components, assume they mean Carburattor fueled bikes Gen 1 owners ??

I get to read the Vintage Motorcycle Club book every month & there has been a lot of correspondence in there over the months/years concerning compatibility issues with E5.I didn't know E10 had been introduced yet.
