Took mine out today for the first time today after fitting the shock. FUCK ME what a difference was two up me and our lass are no light weights but the bike felt like we'd lost a few stone compared to stock.

If your dithering about wondering if you should or shouldn't do this mod just do it , you wont regret it.

Thanks Luke , oh and I notice now you get a shit load of sexy yellow ones in ....  :'(

Just to say a BIG thank you to Luke.
Can't believe how much difference this make to the ride of the bike.
Now much more confident in the wet.

I did a straight bank transfer to say a few pounds, which I was a bit worried about but needn't have.

His communications were excellent .

The top space washers had come unglued in the post, so a little of fiddling required to fit, and the paint needed to be cleaned from inside the holes on the dog bones, other than that a straight foward bolt on mod.

Should those nuts be loctited?

Many thanks

One Happy customer

I need a new shock and am wondering about getting an R6 shock fitted. Do you know the year that the correct one was produced? Is there a unique part number or something? I'd like to source one here in the UK using part finder or eBay. I've got a 2003 FZS 1000.

Thanks Luke, already seen your sticky. I find it difficult to tell if it's the right one from most of the sellers' pics. I'll keep searching.
