Do Fazer 1000 levers fit FZS600 (1998) Mounts?

Mostly i'm asking because it's nigh-impossible to find some nice CNC'd levers for the latter, but there's plenty out there for the former.

Yes, but the clutch lever will have has a bigger span due to the slightly different mount in the FZS1000

As in the lever will be a touch longer?

Also: Just to be specific: For a 99 FZS 600. And this suggested Fazer thousand would be what; Similar year, no more than X?

A touch longer and the distance from the bar to the lever at its furthest point is about 10mm extra.

Probably would not be an issue with adjustable levers.

Splendid.
As soon as i can afford to do so, i'll be buying a set.
Have a few other bits to attend to first: Seat needs leveling and re-covering, speedo mount needs some bending and moving to neaten it up, and so forth. It'd be extra awesome to be able to afford a Koso DB01+ too, but we'll see. Connecting it would be a whole other issue, too...

These seem OK.
Just worried about import tax.

A UK-based equivalent is £60.

Actually, this would suggest import tax would be very low.

Excellent.
