Exhaust change?
« on: 15 August 2014, 09:40:50 pm »
Any ideas on what exhaust would fit a 98 fzs 600?

Looking for just the end from the link pipe and one that i could take apart and empty.

ones with rivets are preferred as i can just drill em out empty then re rivet.

could cut mine but i can't weld it back up after, ive already smashed holes in the inside of it at the outlet end, more noise but not enough and i can't be bothered to spend £100 on a different exhaust

So you mean the end can? If so there are lots to choose from. But would not the rest of the engine dynamics change or need to be tweaked when swapping out a can, e.g. valves, timing and ignition system, fuel mixture and outlet/exhaust system
Three lefts make a right

Na, straight swap with no mods needed. Makes no difference to the bike apart from noise and a bit more eager to rev.

It all depends on what style you want. The world's quite literally your oyster!
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!
