eratic headlight adjustment?

my headlight adjustment for main beam seems to be very eratic, i cant seem to move it horizontaly it will only go down and left which is no good as in the middle of the road its about 5 foot infront of me.


ive had the headlight apart and made sure everything is connected properly it is.. ive tried everything

They don't tend to adjust as you would like, or would even make sense, but persevere by adjusting all options and you'll probably find that you'll get there eventually.

You'll think of a way to get round it, i'm sure.

I took the headlight out and tried turning it round so i can see the adjusters but i still can't see them. i give up.
