Coolant hoses between carbs
« on: 25 July 2014, 06:59:01 pm »
As above, is there a proper name for these?

Punctured to of them while removing my carbs earlier on the fzs600.

Alternatively anyone know the internal diameter for them so I can get some silicone pipe or something?

Bad day with the bike :(

Cheers

They are the carb heater hoses, pull one off and go to a motor factors with it. should only cost a few quid for a foot or so of hose. Don't know the size sorry.

As a temporary fix you could get away with just blocking the hose. It won't have much effect on the bike in summer.

Ideal.

Silicone hose is cheap online so thinking I'll measure it and order some super fast blue hose.

Yamaha charge 34 and 18 quid for the 2 I need!
