Front Master Cylinder Screws
« on: 07 July 2014, 10:43:47 pm »
Hey peeps, changed my pads and brake fluid the other day and one of the screws on the master cylinder is shagged, pretty much rounded off. Anybody got any spare ones or where I can get some?

If you have an engineers supplier or fastener suppliers place in your area they should be able to fix you up.
The size is 4mm x 0.7mm pitch (standard metric course thread), counter sunk screw 12mm long.
If you can only get longer screws you can always cut to length and clean up the end of the thread with a file etc.
If your struggling send me a PM with your address and I'm sure I will have some I can cut down and send.

I've got a bag of about 20 stainless screws this size in my garage.  Can post a couple if you still need them

I would be interested in having some of the stainless screws sent out - How much are you looking at?

Just PM your address and I'll stick a couple in the post. No need to pay but stick some money in the next charity collection you see
