was originally planning to go the black / gold route, but think silver will be better.
got some silver reflective wheel tape on order.
the pr3's are great.
never had a grip issue yet

It's a 2003 model, my 5th bike, done with it more than 31.000 miles so far. Fell in love with it immediately, never really needed more than this (I had a chance to swap it for 1000cc model but didn't).
We went through too much together, numerous near-deaths, near-falls (never had an accident with it though), visits to nearby countries, weekend rides with friends, girlfriends, races, etc... it now has its own place in my heart where it will stay forever

The last pic is of a little owl that I saved from the road, several years ago. I've put it in my garage with food and clothes that night, just to find it on my bike next morning

She probably went for the heat of the motor but I like to think it's because of the bike

They are from Delkevic off eBay and only 185 inc p&p. See my other post under the introduction section titled "born again biker" posted earlier today. Would have posted the link but sending this from my phone. Great value and fitted perfect.

Posted once before on page 4 but here we go again as things have changed. First photo is how it looks now - has a Wingrack + full luggage, 1300 lumen LED spotlights, crashbars, re-upholstered seat, Fenda Extenda & new rad cover. 2nd photo is of it before the changes and before some bastard knocked my bike over and wrote off my freshly painted fairing! Might not be as pretty but certainly more practical now....

Paint removed from the cooling fins. Alloy torque arm, fork gaitors and bigger wheels installed

No, I just clean the muck off it with wd40, and then a little autosol now and again. Probably only use the autosol 2 or 3 times a year which is not bad for a bike used everyday in all weathers. Same goes for the engine casings and any bits of unlaquered/painted alloy like the pillion footpeg holders. A little polish of that stuff seems to go a long way.
