I'm a software team leader for Titian Software, a small outfit (90 people ish) that sell a sample management system to the R&D depts of all big pharmaceutical firms (GSK, Astra Zeneca, Sanofi, Lilly, Pfizer etc), plus quite a few bio/agro-science firms. It's basically a super complicated asset management system with stuff bolted on to integrate and drive all kinds of automated liquid handling machines. Lots of c#, asp.net, mvc, oracle etc. Fairly senior now, so spend less time doing dev work, more time on project/line management and recruiting, plus some onsite time deploying/testing. Still, it's a company on way up, expanding a lot, and doing some interesting software work.
