Heading up north? Whereabouts are you going? Engerland or Scotland? If It's Scotland i can give you some astounding roads ;)

Im a fifer nick so ill be going to fife first & then i hope to do skye at some point via the green welly, went to Oban last year on the bike, also did Glenshee pass & tomintoul but really im looking forward to those roads near kyle of lochalsh which i know are sweet but never done on the bike.

Im hoping if time permits & any jock foccers are going some nice runs that i can follow on...theres already been some mention of Dukes pass which ive never done.....any recomendations will be well received.......only got 1 week but im sure i can do quite a bit in that time.

If going to Skye go to neist point. It is the end of the world with a lighthouse. The rock formation is the same as the giants causeway in ireland if you walk right down past the lighthouse. It is also the most northwest place on mainland Britain (Skye bridge)

Cheers i'll give that a punt i reckon.....all weather depending but trying to talk my old man into a run from fife to Skye....stay overnight b&b so that the next day we can spend about half a day exploring skye before returning to fife.......just not sure how much of skye we could comfortably squeeze into half a day thats all........if he cant be arsed then my plan b is take some basic camping kit & rough it out for a night or 2.

You could b&b at dunvegan (middle of Skye) Go to neist point the following day and go down the right side of skye and back across to the bridge. Easy ride to Skye from fife on day one and roughly the same distance back the next day. :)
