Anyone else been contacted by a bike mag?

A certain bike mag has contacted me (I think) via this site, asking if I'll do a write up on 'How my gazer has changed my life' lol

I used to get emails from various bike & ride journos (lisa steele being one I recall) inviting me down to peterborough for a test - the "fee" would be a bacon butty. I was tempted for a few seconds.

yes tori, i think all the admin have, and as the writer says some other "gp heroes" on the site, they are after something a little different read here

Specifically, he's after 100 - 150 words (by 'phone or e-mail) saying how someone has had their life changed for the better by becoming a Fazer 600 owner. 

I'm sending the same query to another half dozen or so mods/admins/GP Heros off the forum in the hope that someone will be willing and able to help out, or at least point him to another forum member who can.

following a used test thing on an FZS600. Will need a suitable pic – modified bike? FZS in Africa? Long distance? High miles? Track day bike?

The mag want a review/article for an fzs. I don't even ride an fzs, I ride an fz6. I was trying to get a good plug for the site in exchange. I have recommended he speaks to Rence about his Lands end to john o groats and back in 48 hours, as I think it'd be a great advert for the fzs. In exchange, Foc u will get a mention and hopefully, our affliation to the bmf

Not this time, although the last time I was it was Ride and my ugly mug appeared next to a (rather tame for me) slating of the KTM.
THEN I tried to sell it two weeks later, mibbes not my best move with hindsight...
