Mind, having said that, make sure you've got a record of his name, date and time of call, just in case... Not that I don't trust the parasites... Ideally, use an app on your phone that records all calls, so you have your own record... Paranoid, me?
I've got 1 month left on my policy. I moved house recently and wasn't willing to pay the admin charge to change address. The insurance company say that could invalidate the insurance. It's £30 to change it. I have three options basically.1) I could stump the fee.2) I could do nothing and let the policy expire, and renew in a month giving the new address3) I could buy insurance today, about a month in advance of renewal just to make sure I'm covered. This would work out costing about a tenner rather than the £30 in option 1. The problem with this is I wouldn't be able to prove my no claims until my old policy expires, which is a month away.Your thoughts?
