Greetings from Montenegro
« on: 05 January 2012, 12:17:12 pm »
Greetings all! I am 36 years old motorcycle lover from Montenegro. So far, owned Kawasaki KLE 500 and Yamaha TDM900a (sold it in October), but currently motorcycleless. At this point I am looking at 2007 Fazer (one with the fairings) with 19000 km on the clock in decent shape. As it is early registration in 2007 (May) I was wondering how can I check if it is 2007 (or it is 2006) Fazer. Also, as I am 191cm tall, is this to small motorcycle for me? Cheers!

English:

Welcome brother,

Fazer is OK for tall people, but I think for a nearly two meters tall man a TDM is better tailored. Although for the Fazer I can say all the best. Given what is done in this part of the world with frames and numbers, you will hardly ever be sure. See what the condition is and check over Motorists Union (if it can be in Montenegro) that the motor is not wanted, that it is not hot. In Serbia on some occasions even dealers sold stolen motors like new.
Most things done in a hurry need to be done again - patiently.
