Good to see you all around a coffee.
Have a good ride and FFS dont leave Midden behind on the way home....after all he's only got one of these....as Red98 is pointing out in this picture of his very own "grandpa bike"

Hi guys. I decided last minute to surprise you by riding from the West country and meet you at Sammy Millers. I got there at 11am, had some scoff and a walk round the museum (£5 today). I'm guessing you got lost or or changed your destination. My fault for not checking in. I left there at 2pm. Sorry I missed you guys...  :rolleyes

Good to see you regular LoFo's today, and some new ones.

Ivan and my self bailed out at Boxhill as we had other plans so I'm not sure where the others ended up. Probably got lost as I retired from my role as road captain at Boxhill.

Nice to see so many Foccers in my mirrors... Then again the pace was pretty gentle.  :lol

I found out why Reds' bike wasn't that quick today. Must have been the wadding coming out of his end can.

Home safe about half hour ago. Good day out, good to see everyone etc etc.
Think we had more stops than miles covered - we could've done Sammy Miller's, and the tank museum, and Portsmouth historic shipyard, and probably a quick blat to Wales and back, with just a couple less stops  :rolleyes

Notable events of the day: Bananagate  :lol
Stuttering red98 throws a tantrum and chucks coolant everywhere.  :rolleyes
Red98 chats up more of the blue rinse brigade  :eek
Exupnut sinks to riding a H***a - being white, it might actually be quicker than his Fazer  ;)
Poor old HarryHornby gets his bike pulled to pieces by red98 (but Harry's wasn't the one pissing coolant, eh Paul?  :lol  )

A272 from Petersfield to Winchester was excellent - best part of the route today, helped by the fact that by the time Paul and I did it, the roads were a bit quieter.

Historic Dockyard at Portsmouth made up a bit for missing Sammy Miller's, so not a dead loss in that regard.

All in all, a very good day  :)

Got home about an hour ago, peeled off from Harry on the pretext of going home but instead zipped down the fox and goose for the picture challenge but got beaten to it :\  (I think I'm obsessed). Top day out as usual Foccers, sorry we missed you Fazer390 and I'm sorry I got the blame for banana gate :lol . Thanks to red ceri for showing me the difference in performance between full monty and slip on :D (And we don't want to hear any of your racing driver excuses ) :lol   And despite our best efforts we couldn't seem to lose Midden. :b

:\ Looks like you all enjoyed a fantastic day, as ever! Mine was F too, but more like frustrating and the other word!!!
Went to J&S at Maidstone to help with Guy Martin Big Brew to find I was the only helper, no-one to put up the gazebo I had delivered the day before with tables and chairs, so just spent a while chatting to people, as it was fairly busy until mid day, then went very quiet as everyone off enjoying themselves on their bikes :(
Went home the fun way, only it wasn't as came across a RTA with a biker on the deck and an Ambulance waiting to take him off to hospital along with numerous Plod directing traffic etc. As I was at the lights near the Oakdene, ambulance came past me with blues and two's going, which depressed me even more.

Only consolation was that I was on the bike which was serviced on Friday and going like the clappers.Consoled myself with the thought I will be at Brands Hatch tomorrow for Kent Fire Bike Ride Skills day, so will have some track time for free.Looking forward to the June one when you guys will be there, which will liven it up even more! lolGlad you all enjoyed such a brilliant day, I would happily have settled for Dockyard in place of Sammy Miller, it looked fabulous........another F word!

So, I was out the house for almost 14 hours, I reckon about 4 of that was actual riding!!!  :b   282 miles for me, the longest ride I've ever done.

Great day out, thanks to Red I've got to get some work done to the bike, anyone any good at removing 2 busted exhaust nuts (didn't check them when I bought the bike  :'( )

Some great roads and great company, nice to put more names to faces.

Highlights for me, Bananagate, the MV Augusta F4 (wow that was bloody gorgeous!), Red chatting up the blue rinse brigade, probably ruining some Bride's day by escorting her horse and trap ride to her reception with 6 noisy bikes and the young girl on the push bike passing us all parked up at Southsea saying "fazer, fazer, fazer, fazer, fazer, fazer.....it's a fazer day out"  :D
