are gel seats really that much better than standard for long haul trips,,ive a 2004 fazer thou

For me yes I can cover four times the distance with the gel seat. Best thing is to see if you can borrow one to try out before spending your cash

If you don't want to splash out straight away, try shitting in a carrier bag and using that instead for a few days.

Had my seat recovered/reshaped by Diggerseats in Wales, looks smart, more comfortable than standard and from what l gather from my research a foam padded seat is a better option than a gel seat which conduct heat too easily and weigh way more than a foam seat
