That missing plane
« on: 13 March 2014, 12:07:24 pm »
Flight MH370, bloody strange isn't it.
How come no ones claiming alien intervention  :eek

I was told that scaled down it's like looking for a penny in somewhere the size of Wembley stadium. Could take a while!

i reckon they flew it up to the outer edge of the atmosphere, and it burned up on re-entry.

When you have dismissed the probable, what ever you are left with, however improbable has to be the answer.

Therefore……………its aliens.

or the captain flew it under the radar and landed it somewhere for a few shekels towards his retirement, so the plane can be used later to attack singapores twin towers.

Was reading some American site yesterday, they reckon the planes transponders can be turned off so civil radar can't see it.
However the engines continually send data back to base and that was happening for another 4 hours.
Gets stranger and stranger.

there are two types of civilian radar. One relies on the plane telling the "radar" where it is and the other is a true RAdio Direction And Ranging system that sends a radio pulse out and listens for the reflected signal to come back giving it a range and direction. To avoid clutter on the screens, control towers only tend to use the first one but military use both as the enemy is unlikely to sqwark their location to you.
The +4 hours thing on the engine data seems to be a bit vague at the moment. One minute they are saying that they have it, the next they don't. Rolls Royce don't seem to have made a statement yet about it but the US are now searching the Indian Ocean so there is possibly some truth in it.

Those americans know where it is and can see it from their spy satalites but to say so would expose their ability.

Since commercial earth observing satellites have a resolution of a couple of feet, the Americans wouldn't be revealing much about their spy satellites capabilities if they found something the size of an airliner.

Delboy's theory, FWIW, is that it nose dived into boggy land or thick jungle at around 500mph and may never be found?
